When trying to be cute and festive for your little family by trying to make Fourth of July rice crispy treats it is not wise to melt down the 4th of July marshmallows. Red, white and blue marshmallows make for purple rice crispy treats. Go figure.

I thought about making those! Luckily the purple thing occurred to me BEFORE I made them! :) We missed y'all at Monkey Joes today. I saw your RSVP and told Annagrace she would be playing with Reese today! She did find a new friend (she needs them SO bad) but the moms weren't that friendly. It reminded me why I didn't like the PICP when we signed up last time. I guess I need to be more outgoing!
