Orem Summerfest
Wow, it was a very rainy day today! We got to the Orem Summerfest before it rained though. We had a good time, we only went on 3 rides but it was fun. Jeremy and Reese rode the ferris wheel and Reese and I went on some pirate boat ride that made me queasy, I am not made for carnival rides! Here are some pics of Reese and Brodie enjoying the Summerfest.

Still hanging in...
We are still here, Jeremy hasn't found a job yet but we have had a few interviews and leads so hopefully something will come to fold soon. This experience has been hard but not nearly as hard as I thought it would be. We have been blessed with great friends to pass the days. Reese has been a trial lately. She keeping taking off her diaper during her nap or bed time, we are trying to potty train but we are butting heads, she has been a nightmare at night, trying to go to bed is the worst. I hoping she is going to grow out of it soon. I have to admit I duct taped her diaper on during her nap. Brodie is doing well, he is cutting three teeth so he is a little cranky sometimes but besides that he is being the sweet giggly boy he always is. I love having Jeremy home but wish we still had an income. I wish we had our own business where he would stay with me and our kids and we still made good money. I have been starting to exercise lately trying to loose those baby pounds, it is going ell and I enjoy it, I am a ball of soreness but I rather be sore than fat, even though I still am fat, with how sore I have been I expected to wake up and look like Heidi Klum. ;) We have been sicky today, Reese has had a cough and runny nose, I have had a yucky throat and been weak and Brodie just has been congested. Jeremy and I have taken this time together to go to the temple and it has been a wonderful experience as a couple. I am having a girls temple day this weekend, we are going to the Manti temple and I am so excited to check another temple off the list!

I loved it, I saw another preview for it and wanted to watch it again, I can't wait until it comes out on video and it just came out today! I love the dog Doug :) " I love you and I just met you" LOL his voice makes me smile! And did you know that they are coming our with a Toy Story 3 in June 2010!

Big Boy!
Brodie had his 4 month old check up today. He is 15.1 lbs and 25 inches long. That is about the 75% for height and 54% for weight. He is our little meat muffin. All in all the Dr. appointment went well. He also got shots today and did much better this time and has been cheery and loving all day like he normally is. The Dr also said to try foods with him for a little bit every once and in awhile so today just to be fun we tried pears. Brodie actually didn't shy away from them but wasn't absolutely loving them either. Reese on the other hand asked for a bite and then asked for more! LOL! Funny girl, she polished of the rest of the baby food.

Layoffs
Jeremys last day of work was today. I am very nervous about the economy and job market right now. I hope and pray that the jobs he wants in Columbus work out for us. He would have to move out first leaving us behind to pick up in August but we need a job so desperatly and we need to be next to family. This has re-lit my passion for getting out of debt and "changing our family tree" like Dave Ramsey says. I know that getting out of debt now in our twenties when our kids are young will be hard but a lot easier than later in life. I don't ever want to be in this situation again where I have no money and no e-fund. Scary stuff. Thank goodness to pinching your pennies that we have a decent food stock but not for very long. This in due time will be a blessing in disguise. I am determined to have only a positive outlook on this. I know Jeremy will find a job and we will be ok.
